A vital part of the club, creating a pathway between junior and adult cricket.
Background
The 3rd XI have joined the Cherwell Cricket League for 2026. They play a crucial role in developing youth players coming from junior cricket and experiencing adult cricket for the first time.
Matches are every Saturday from May until September.

Home games are played at Gawcott CC.
Joining the 3rd team
Our third team is accepting players and we strongly encourage you to join the team. They play at an intermediate level where there is a mix of skill levels so this is the perfect team to join if you don’t have any cricketing experience or just want a gently introduction back into cricket. We recommend you give it a whirl and see what happens. They are a friendly bunch and will be very welcoming.
Training will take place from 7pm – 8:00pm on Fridays. We welcome you to just turn up to see if you like it. If you don’t have your own kit we can help supply some for the sessions.
Matches take place on either Tuesdays, Saturdays or Sundays. They play 40 over games.To find out further information please check the play-cricket website.
